One of several attempts to draw them again, they all came out horrible. I asked for crits of this on my livejournal, particularly where head size is concerned, but no one said to resize them... you guys can tell me what you think, as it's late and idk what I'm looking at.
More to come hopefully soon... I have all your notes and comments to read also! Will do
EDIT: Changed James' legs because of your suggestions... I don't know if it helped at all.
First off, Julvett, I've always loved your work. I enjoy your simplistic animation style, and believe that it's classic and ace.
As for this piece, I think that there's alot to be said for the facial expressions, but there are a few things that I noticed. For one, Mr. Potter's legs are as straight as a two by four. I've never seen legs quite like that, My god they're the right length, they flow well, and they don't have a billion lines making them difficult. Great flow... just a little too straight. I'd put a tiny bit of shadow underneath his legs as well, because after all if they are propped up at the very end of the sofa/lovechair/bench then they would cast a slight shadow. The background is very nice. Very simple, very easy to flow with. Mrs. Potter's feet need the tiniest bit of clean up, because I can see multiple lines.... but besides that? You always do well. I honestly have no complaints.
lol dylan does that to me all the time..... rawr.... and dont say this picture is horribsl because it not... (sorry bad english.... geez) its very good!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
