Ariel with her Mother

Young Ariel with her mother, Queen Athena. I just heard about the new Little Mermaid movie, and although all Disney sequels are terrible, I was excited to see Ariel's mom is in it! Of course she dies... but always wondered what happened to her when I was little. I tried so hard to keep their likenesses I have some more TLM drawings I might post tomorrow if I have time.
